About

The Women's Missionary Society began in 1932 by Nora Hunter.  Today we are known as the CWC (Christian Women Connection). From the beginning, the society's objectives covered a wide variety of concerns, with the main focus being missionary work at home and abroad. We are a local unit of the state and national CWC partnering with them to meet needs at local, state, national & international levels.

Our two major fundraisers are the Strawberry Festival in the spring and the Fall Bazaar close to Thanksgiving. We are very grateful to our entire church body for supporting these CWC events in any way they are able to! We use these funds to help meet the needs of people at home and abroad! Some examples are.. Care packages for chemo/dialysis patients, school supplies to children in need, we help support Children of Promise, scholarships for our state youth camps, sending financial help for disaster relief victims and we send our share to help support missionaries all around the globe!
